We participate to the the first MotorShow Fair.

1988 May
The first issue of the quarterly newsletter, Boto Magazine, which is prepared to inform the BMW users about the developments in the Borusan Oto and BMW world.

1992 January
For the first time a customer satisfaction survey was conducted.

1992 September
The after-market department of Borusan Oto Avcılar BMW Center started its operation. One of its important features is that it presents the first vehicle acceptance point, which provides the opportunity of examining the vehicle to be serviced in a practical way and deciding what needs to be done together with the customer right there.

1995 February
The data bank where customer records and contacts are carried out in a systematic way (VUP) was established.

1996 January
Borusan Oto started to trade approved used cars in order to also position the BMW brand it is distributing, in the used car market in the best manner.

1996 January
The comprehensive work perfection activities started and the first quality development teams were assembled.

1996 April
The first BMW Lifestyle Evening and Z3.

1997 January
Borusan Oto became the founder partner of Borusan Culture and Art.

1998 January
Borusan Oto, continued its operations as two separate companies, Borusan Otomotiv İthalat ve Dağıtım A.Ş.and Borusan Oto Servis ve Ticaret A.Ş. From this onwards Borusan Oto started to operate as the retailer and Borusan Otomotiv as the importer in the automobile sector.

1999 December
The BG magazine, which is issued three times a year, came together with its readers in order to better inform the customers of Borusan Otomotiv about its represented brands’ world.

2000 September
The “boxer café”, which is at the upper floor of the Borusan Oto Kuruçeşme Motosiklet Merkezi, with its minimalist style, elaborately selected music and comfortable design and Bosphorus view, was presented to our customers.

2001 January
Offering superior products to its customers with high quality services, Borusan Otomotiv now presents new alternatives other than purchasing. Borusan Otomotiv also offers long term vehicle renting services without purchasing it, with the high standards and service quality you got used to.

2002 May
6 Sigma for the big change!

2004 April
BMW Rider Academy was opened. BMW Rider Academy, constructed on the base of BMW Motorrad standards, started its operations on May in 2004 with offering beginner and advanced level programs to motorcycle fans.

2006 March
Borusan Otomotiv started its Mobile Portal application for BMW Motorcycle.
